rise shine (2022): The practicality of this work begins with the intention to recreate a gallery space I have not yet physically encountered but where my recreation will eventually be displayed. I start constructing my perception of this space through 3D modelling. I recognize how my speculation is simultaneously turning into a recreation of an event originating from my past somatic experience. The past and future events are blending into the present moment that emerges as a site for speculation, observation, contemplation, and projection.
