keep off the grass (2025, Slovenia): the outcome of five artists (Eva Bevec, Eva Garibaldi, Gaja Pegan Nahtigal, Ana Laura Richter, and myself) coming together to explore our experiences of relocating from Slovenia to the Netherlands for our studies. Between 2019 and 2021, we encountered an environment where the landscape was sterile, controlled, and predictable, prompting reflections on home, estrangement, land, marginal spaces, slowness, cyclicality, and different modes of coexisting with more-than-human worlds. We translated these insights and graduation projects into a printed publication presented in the exhibition space which we transformed into an urban Dutch garden zone, serving as a site of return—to research, memory, the body, and territory. On this exhibition three sessions unfolded: 1. performative reading of the publication, 2. walking on the grass (foraging walk with Eva G. and GPN), and 3. lying on the grass (guided meditation with ALR and I). The project was not focused on the artifacts, but on a shared dialogue between researches, bodies, and spaces. ❈ it was financially supported by Municipality of Ljubljana (MOL) ❈
