keep off the grass (2025, Slovenia): the outcome of five artists (Eva Bevec, Eva Garibaldi, Gaja Pegan Nahtigal, Ana Laura Richter, and myself) coming together to explore our experiences of relocating from Slovenia to the Netherlands for our studies. Between 2019 and 2021, we encountered an environment where the landscape was sterile, controlled, and predictable. All of this prompted reflections on home, estrangement, land, marginal spaces, slowness, cyclicality, and different modes of coexisting with more-than-human worlds, which were translated into our individual graduation projects. We further juxtaposed these projects of ours into a printed publication presented in the exhibition space which we transformed into an urban Dutch garden zone. The liminality of this publicly-private property served as a site of return; to our researches and memories. Additionally, we organised a public program for the visitors in the form of three sessions: 1. performative reading of the publication, 2. walking on the grass (foraging walk with Eva G. and GPN), and 3. lying on the grass (guided meditation with ALR and I). ❈ the project was financially supported by Municipality of Ljubljana (MOL) ❈
